Terms of service
General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Last update: 14/10/26
1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders that you place as a consumer through the online store "vea.lu" at "https://vea.lu". A consumer is any natural person who places an order for private purposes and not primarily in the course of his or her commercial or self-employed professional activity. When you place an order through my online store, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions"), including the additional terms and conditions and policies referenced here in and/or available by hyperlink.
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is to regulate the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of my handmade products.
I reserve the right to update, change, or replace parts of these Terms and Conditions.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you represent that you are of legal age or that you have given us your consent for any of your minor dependents to use my website.
The online shop is operated by:
Eva Scholl
Sole entrepreneurship
1B rue Ermesinde
L-8416 STEINFORT
Luxembourg
E-mail: contact@vea.lu
The terms "I" and "my" throughout the website refer to the operator of the website, Eva Scholl.
2. Products
The object of the online shop is the sale of my handmade products.
The presentation of the goods in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding online product presentation. All offers are valid "while stocks last", unless otherwise noted for the products.
I make every effort to present my products and their characteristics in the online shop as accurately and clearly as possible. In particular, colours and the display and dimensions of products may differ slightly depending on the screen, device and settings used. Such technical deviations do not constitute a defect, provided that the delivered product otherwise corresponds to the agreed and legally owed quality.
The product descriptions, illustrations and other information presented in the online shop serve to describe the respective products. The characteristics specified and agreed upon at the time of conclusion of the contract are decisive for the quality of the ordered product.
I reserve the right to change product descriptions, illustrations, prices and other information about my products at any time or to remove products from the range. Such changes have no influence on purchase contracts that have already been concluded.
3. Special features of reused materials
For the production of some of my products, I use partially reused or recycled fabrics, for example from curtains or other textiles that have already been used. Due to previous use, these materials may have natural or use-related traces, colour variations, small irregularities, weaving defects, or other visible signs of wear.
These individual characteristics are part of the character of the reused materials and can influence the appearance of the finished product. This does not affect the legal rights in the event of defects.
4. Conclusion of contract
You can select products from the range and collect them in a so-called shopping cart via the "Add to cart" button. You can initiate the ordering process via the "Checkout" button. Before submitting the order, you can view and change your entries at any time.
By clicking on the "Buy Now" button, you make a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract for the goods contained in the shopping cart.
Immediately after completing your order, you will receive an automatic order confirmation by e-mail. This informs you that I have received your order. The purchase contract is concluded as soon as full payment has been received.
I reserve the right to refuse your order in the following cases:
· The ordered product is not available contrary to the advertisement in the online shop, for example because it is a unique item and the same product has been ordered by another customer in the meantime;
· There is an obvious price, product or offer error in the online shop;
· Due to a technical error, an order has been accepted even though the product is actually not available;
· The payment is not successfully completed, or you do not meet your payment obligation despite setting a reasonable deadline;
· The delivery address provided is incorrect or incomplete and you will not correct it despite being asked to do so;
· There are concrete indications of a fraudulent or abusive order or payment fraud;
· Due to unforeseeable circumstances, the delivery of the ordered product is not possible.
5. Prices
All prices indicated in the online shop are final prices in euros. In accordance with Article 57bis of the amended law of 12 February 1979 on VAT, no VAT is shown.
In addition to the purchase price, there are shipping costs per order within Luxembourg.
The applicable shipping costs will be clearly displayed to you again before completing the order.
6. Terms of payment
The following payment options are available in the online shop:
- Debit or credit card
- Bank transfer
- Wero
In the case of payment by bank transfer or Wero, the order will only be processed after receipt of full payment.
For the other payment methods offered, payment processing is carried out according to the respective payment service provider.
I reserve the right not to offer individual payment methods for certain orders if there is an objective reason for this.
The goods remain my property as the seller until full payment has been made.
7. Delivery
Shipments are currently only made within Luxembourg.
The regular delivery time is 2 to 5 working days, unless otherwise stated in the respective product description.
Unless otherwise stated, the delivery period begins on the day after receipt of full payment for payment by bank transfer or Wero and on the day after conclusion of the contract for other payment methods.
If the delivery is delayed for reasons beyond my control, you will be informed.
Delivery will be made to the delivery address provided by you in the order process.
The risk of accidental loss or accidental damage to the goods is generally only transferred when the goods are handed over to you or a person named by you.
8. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days.
In the case of goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which you or a person named by you received the goods.
You must inform me within this period that you want to withdraw from the contract. A justification is not required.
You can find the details of your right of withdrawal, the exercise of the right of withdrawal and the consequences of the withdrawal in my separate cancellation policy.
9. Returns after a revocation
In the event of a withdrawal, send the goods back to me within 14 days. During this time, you should handle the goods carefully. For a loss in value of the goods caused by handling that was not necessary to check their nature, properties and functioning, I can claim compensation under the legal requirements.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
Please return the goods to the following address:
Eva Scholl
1B, rue Ermesinde
L-8416 STEINFORT
10. Liability for defects
The statutory provisions on liability for defects apply. In the case of defective goods, you are entitled to the rights provided for by law. These include a right to repair or replacement delivery and, if the legal requirements are met, a reduction or refund of the purchase price.
Reports of defects or complaints must be sent by email to contact@vea.lu or to me via the contact form.
As already noted in Section 3, I use partially reused substances. The individual characteristics of the material are part of the character of these substances and, insofar as they are based on the previous use of the material and have been presented in the description as such, do not constitute a defect of the product. Therefore, they do not entitle the holder to claims based on liability for defects. The statutory rights in the event of defects remain unaffected by this.
11. Liability
I am liable in accordance with the statutory provisions. Mandatory statutory consumer rights as well as liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health remain unaffected.
12. Applicable law
For these Terms and Conditions and the contracts of sale concluded by you and me, Luxembourg law applies.
If you have your habitual residence in another member state of the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected to the extent that they apply to you.
Any dispute relating to the contract of sale concluded between you and me (i.e. as to itsvalidity, interpretation or performance) shall be subject to the exclusivejurisdictionof the courts of Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
13. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use my online shop and my offers for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates applicable law or violates the rights of third parties.
In particular, you must not provide false or misleading information, distribute or transmit malware, attempt unauthorized access to my website or related systems, or use my website in any way that affects its operation.
14. Data protection
I only process your personal data within the framework of the applicable data protection regulations.
I use Shopify's platform to process my online shop. To use the website and process orders, Shopify processes your personal data.
You can find out what data is collected, why it is processed and what rights you have in my privacy policy.
15. Customer Service
If you have any questions about your order, a product, delivery or a complaint, you can always contact me by e-mail at contact@vea.lu or use the contact form via the contact page.
I will do my best to process your request as soon as possible.
16. Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected to the extent permitted by law.
